We all know that Ireland isn't having the best match-preparation with some important players missing and some strange things happened at the hotel.
But mostly, I want to say what I'm thinking about Holland. With Van Nistelrooy and Van Bommel kicked out of the squad (which I personally don't like, but that's another issue), I think their substitutes want to prove something here. Especially in front, where I think Huntelaar wants to show Van Basten that he was wrong not adding him to the WC team, and with that, Huntelaar is always keen scoring 1 or more goals.
Then we have another striker, Kuyt. He just can't play at 50/60 %, he will always work hard, no matter with match he is playing. Of course he can score a goal as well, and give assist too. And with that, I haven't even mentioned Robben and Van Persie.
All in all I believe in an easy Holland victory here. I think Van Basten wants to show all the criticasters Holland is able to show some good football.
